
Liz Blacker

Liz Blacker is a sought after business executive and thought leader in the global and multicultural marketing world. She started her career at The Wall Street Journal launching in international markets and quickly became a digital trailblazer, launching Yahoo's Latin division. She has led innovative business launches at iHeartMedia, Telefonica, impreMedia and TelevisaUnivision and has advised early stage tech starts ups at the conversion of tech, entertainment, content and the creator economy for a number of years. Most recently she was head of global sales and marketing at Sabio, an AdTech company. Currently she is COO of The Content Code, a social media agency founded by her 18 year old Gen Z entrepreneur son Braden Blacker.
While at One Economy, a global non-profit, she oversaw marketing, PR, content and strategic partners such as; NBC Telemundo, The Allstate Foundation, The Gates Foundation, and The Pew Internet American Life Project. Under her tenure, One Economy won its 1st Webby Award for its bi-lingual Katrina Help Center. She also co-led a high-level project to create a Public Internet Channel with Co-chairs President Barack Obama (then Senator) + Senator John McCain.
In her spare time, Liz is an Advisor for The Parent Resource Center, an advocate for the Latin community and lives with her husband in Port Washington NY. She is frequently in LA visiting her son and seeing friends and clients. She holds a BA in Communications from Muhlenberg College, studied Film at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and holds a certificate in British Lit, Creative Writing + Political Science from Oxford University. She also received Executive Business Certificates from Stanford University and Yale University and was named a “Woman to Watch” by Ad Age Magazine.
