Hunter is the Founder & CEO of Xpedition. Part marketing agency, part entertainment studio, Xpedition is a 60+ person company (LA, SF, Vancouver, Denver, NYC, London, Amsterdam) that was started on the founding principle to respect the story. He is an Emmy award-winning and Tony-nominated producer and an award-winning marketer and creative producer.

At Xpedition, Hunter has assembled a global team in which 60% identify as women, 40% are people of color, 30% are LGBTQIA+, 30% are fluent in a language other than English, and 6% are veterans. They work with clients like Airbnb, Amazon, Google, Discovery+, Fitbit, HGTV, RingCentral, Juniper, and YouTube.

Under Hunter’s leadership, Xpedition has been recognized by AdWeek's Fastest Growing Agencies, Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies, Inc. Best in Business, the Marcomm Awards, the Communicator Awards, the Emmys, the Tony Awards, and the Davey Awards.

Hunter currently serves as part of the producing teams for the Broadway musicals "Gypsy" with Audra McDonald, "Sunset Blvd" with Nicole Scherzinger, and the upcoming show "Smash" produced with Steven Spielberg, Robert Greenblatt, Neil Meron, and Jennifer Hudson. Along with the West End's Operation Mincemeat, which is the best-reviewed show in West End history and won the 2024 Olivier Award for Best New Musical.

Prior to starting Xpedition, Hunter was in TV Development at Sony Pictures Television (Breaking Bad, Shark Tank) and later went on to produce TV shows, including MasterChef & MasterChef Jr., Big Brother, The Sing-Off, Street Outlaws, Bar Rescue, in addition to many others for major networks such as HBO, HGTV, FOX, CBS, Discovery, and History.

Hunter has been published in AdWeek and Forbes, writing about Xpedition’s work in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space. He is a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (The Emmys), and the Producers Guild of America.

One of his most proud moments involved defeating a Super Bowl Champion in a championship game of pickleball.
