Miller first gained industry attention while at Leo Burnett as the original creator
of the “Mayhem Campaign” for Allstate Insurance. Along with numerous awards,
the campaign was ultimately inducted to the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk
of Fame. While at Leo Burnett, Miller also led the creation of the “Recipeace”
campaign for the nonprofit Peace One Day, which received Best of Show at the
One Show and the coveted White Pencil at the D&AD. Other notable projects
include “Mean Stinks” for Secret’s anti-bullying campaign and the “Life Is a
Special Occasion” platform for Hallmark.
At BBDO, Miller has overseen a number of award-winning campaigns, most
notably “Imagine the Possibilities” for Barbie. Capping off award wins in every
major show, the campaign was included in CNBC’s “Best Campaigns of the
Decade,” Clio’s “Most Memorable Campaigns of the Decade” list, and earned the
coveted Clio Icon Award. Additional noteworthy campaigns include “My Other
Team Is Mexico” for Wells Fargo and “Reinvent” for HP.
Miller currently holds a dual role: First as CCO of BBDO LA and Dallas, overseeing
all work produced from those offices, and second as CCO of Omnicom for AT&T,
overseeing all work produced for Omnicom’s biggest client across a roster of 10
agencies.
Miller’s diverse body of work on a wide array of brands has won over 250 industry
awards including recognition at shows like Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clios, ACD,
Radio Mercury Awards, Effies, and Young Guns. Along with these awards, Miller
was also inducted to the Advertising Hall of Achievement in 2018.
Before his career in advertising, Miller spent time in Brazil, Peru, and Mozambique
working on numerous humanitarian initiatives including establishing microloan
programs, greenhouse construction, and working in orphanages. Miller and his
wife Rachel have four kids, Sam (13), Mae (11), Grant (8), and Wells (6). As a result,
they are always tired.
