Brianna Burtman is the Vice President of CNN Digital Strategy and Network Partnerships, where she leads CNN’s nationwide digital sales organization and collaborates with network partners to align business priorities with the editorial vision of a global news powerhouse.

Since joining CNN in 2008 as an Account Service Representative, Burtman has built a distinguished 17-year career at the network, advancing through a series of leadership roles that have shaped CNN’s digital advertising strategy and product innovation. She has been instrumental in driving initiatives that fuse premium storytelling with advertiser value and ensuring CNN remains a trusted, impactful platform for audiences and brands alike.

Among her notable achievements, Burtman championed the transformation of CNN’s iconic Magic Wall from an election-night staple into a dynamic storytelling canvas used across coverage areas such as climate, sports, and breaking news. She also played a key role in developing Focus Mode, CNN’s distraction-free viewing experience designed to deepen audience engagement. Her work continues to advance CNN’s mission to deliver quality journalism while helping brands integrate seamlessly with interactive, data-rich content.

Burtman is based out of CNN offices in New York, NY and reports to Guy Griggs, SVP of Ad Sales and Client Partnerships for CNN.
