A.P. Chaney is the Director of Creative Strategy for Sparkling Flavors in North America at The Coca-Cola Company, based in Atlanta, GA. She leads creative excellence across brands like Sprite and Fanta, driving campaigns that are authentic, resonant, and culturally relevant.

Over the past four years, A.P. has helped transform the business, serving as the consistent voice for Sprite and pushing the brand past Pepsi to become the #3 soft drink in the U.S. She signed major talent including Jalen Hurts (Sprite’s first football player), Doechii, Anthony Edwards, and Sha’Carri Richardson (the brand’s first female athlete). She also led Sprite’s groundbreaking entry into women’s basketball through the Unrivaled league, serving as title sponsor for its 1v1 tournament.

A.P. relaunched the iconic Obey Your Thirst platform for a new generation and led high-impact campaigns like Hip-Hop 50, Sprite’s first movie partnership with Marvel’s Black Panther, and Fanta’s “Wanta” platform in North America. With her deep cultural insight and sharp business acumen, she continues to drive both brand equity and business growth.

She earned her B.A. in History from Spelman College with honors and a Master’s in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University, where she was an African American Studies Fellow. Originally from Minneapolis, she now lives in Atlanta after several years in the Northeast.

A.P. is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a mentor, an Ad Age Leading Women honoree, and an Adweek Top 50 Honoree.
