Jimmie Johnson is a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and owner of LEGACY MOTOR CLUB. Johnson is the only racecar driver named AP Male Athlete of the Year (2009). With 83 wins in 686 starts, he’s tied for sixth on NASCAR’s all-time wins list. Johnson’s legendary run with Hendrick Motorsports included five consecutive championships from 2006–2010. After retiring from full-time NASCAR racing, he competed in INDYCAR, was crowned the 2022 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year and as participated in various other prestigious events such as the Goodwood Revival and Seafair in Seattle. Off the track, Johnson and his wife Chandra operate the Jimmie Johnson Foundation, and have donated over $13.5 million to support K–12 public education across the U.S. since 2006.
