Ellen Bradley is Chief Brand Officer and SVP of Marketing and Communications at the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), where she leads the brand strategy, reputation, and consumer engagement efforts for North America’s $230B recreational boating industry. Ellen drives initiatives that position the industry for long-term growth and builds integrated campaigns that influence public policy and connect with the next generation of boaters. This includes overseeing Discover Boating, the industry’s lifestyle brand to welcome more people to the water, and its portfolio of national consumer boat shows, driving demand among current and future boaters.

Ellen plays a key role in the industry’s advocacy and public affairs, using data-driven storytelling and 360-campaigns to shape public perception and influence policy. Her work helps ensure that recreational boating remains accessible, sustainable, and aligned with the values of the next generation. In 2024 she led the launch of Propelling Our Future, a global campaign spotlighting innovations that reduce carbon emissions and protect the clean water the industry relies on.

Named a PRWeek Woman of Distinction in 2024, Ellen brings a mix of strategic insight, creative vision, and deep industry knowledge to her work. She serves on the boards of the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation and A Giving Heart Foundation and lives in Chicago with her husband and two kids—and yes, spends as much time boating as her job allows.
