A globally recognized business strategist and brand-building innovator, and 1 of only 18 inducted into Forbes’ CMO Hall of Fame, Marisa is known for inspiring teams to take brands to new heights of consumer resonance, cultural relevance, and business performance. A pioneer of digital, social and eCommerce marketing, she has orchestrated blockbuster product launches, unexpected cultural moments, and has moved with uncommon ease between industries including beauty and QSR, big box retail and CPG, mass and prestige, and hospitality/entertainment.

This spring Marisa took on a new and different challenge in becoming the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, whose portfolio includes SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Sesame Place, Discovery Cove, Aquatica parks and more. Prior to this, Marisa served as the first executive vice president, chief brand and marketing officer, of Lowe’s Home Improvement, Marisa’s leadership through the COVID-19 pandemic while stewarding the brand’s transformation helped drive record sales for the company while being recognized as the #3 Best Marketer of the Year by AdAge (and the only retailer to make the list).

Before Lowe’s, Marisa was the Global Chief Brand Officer at Taco Bell, where she achieved category-beating same store sales growth every quarter, overtaking Burger King, Wendy’s, and Subway in restaurant traffic and capturing the highest passion index among fans of any QSR brand. Marisa spent almost a decade at The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), where she became the company’s first corporate and digital marketing executive. Her earlier career spanned the client and agency worlds, including serving in global advertising and brand strategy roles with Unilever Cosmetics International and Revlon and in account management roles with J. Walter Thompson and Saatchi and Saatchi.
