Simon is the Senior Vice President of Crisis and Risk at Edelman in New York. He specializes in complex issue management, disinformation mitigation, and reputational risk, drawing on two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors.

Simon’s public service career included seven years leading operational teams in strategic communications and informational influence, including multilateral efforts aligned with NATO and British government agencies. He was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for his role in countering the terrorist organization ISIS in the cognitive domain.

He has advised national defense institutions on managing threats in the Grey Zone. His work has ranged from building scalable methodologies for audience analysis across multinational networks to training elite teams on integrated problem-solving approaches.
