Irsis Cabral is a first generation Dominican-American, born and raised in Washington Heights, New York. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon where she’s a Creative Strategy Director at Wieden+Kennedy, helping to lead the Nike social business. Some of her most notable contributions for Nike include their So Win SuperBowl campaign their Winning Isn’t For Everyone Olympic's campaign, A’ja Wilson’s signature shoe announcement, and the more provocative social presence of @nikebasketball on Twitter / X. She also contributed to DoorDash All the Ads which is the recipient of a Cannes Lion Titanium Grand Prix, One Show’s Best in Social, amongst other accolades.
Before W+K Portland, she spent 2.5 years in W+K New York working on Ford, Sprite, Vitamin Water, Jordan, and McDonald’s. Here she contributed to several product launches like Sprite’s new flavor Sprite Ginger, Ford's F-150 Lightning truck, and most recognizable, McDonald’s Travis Scott Meal.
Before entering the Wieden+Kennedy network, Irsis spent her formative years at Translation LLC where she experimented with different disciplines such as comms planning for AT&T’s Codes of Culture, and experiential production for HBO’s The Defiant Ones. Irsis is obsessed with people: observing them and interrogating why they do the things they do.It’s for this reason she’s been successful in each of her roles, rooting each strategy and idea in real people and cultural tension points. She brings all of her upbringing into her work such as her love and admiration of sneakers, her top tier social lurking skills, and some of the sauce you only find in New York.
