Cindy Lim
Head of Brand
Yuzu
Cindy Lim is the Head of Brand for Yuzu, a social and dating app designed for the Asian community.
Born in Seoul and raised in the United States, Cindy identifies herself as a third culture kid, weaving together her Asian heritage and western upbringing. Prior to Yuzu, Cindy co-founded Sundae School, a lifestyle and apparel brand with a focus on spotlighting Asian culture on a global scale.
Through Yuzu, she aspires to elevate Asian pride, endorsing a diverse and immersive cultural exchange among users. The app offers its members an opportunity to connect on various levels – friendships, romantic relationships, and community engagements – all contextualized within the vibrant, rich tapestry of Asian cultures.
Cindy is excited for Yuzu to be an exciting new chapter in the saga of Asian diaspora, empowering connections, celebrating histories, and fostering a sense of cultural pride within the Asian community.
For Cindy, growth and community-building have always been her driving interests. With past roles at management consulting firms like Accenture and BCG, along with her portfolio advisory role at the private equity firm General Atlantic, she brings a strong background focused on the core areas of marketing, sales, and customer success.
Cindy is passionate about beauty, health, and wellness and loves staying active (pilates instructor trainee, newly into golf).
Cindy loves connecting with new people and identifying synergies across her vast rolodex of contacts - her Instagram username is also, unsurprisingly, cinerji
