Jess Jacobs leads Consumer Marketing at Shopify as VP of Shop Growth + Marketing, where she leads brand, growth, and loyalty marketing for Shop, the company's consumer brand.
Before rejoining Shopify, Jess was CMO of MDVIP, the country's largest concierge medicine provider, with 1,500 practices and nearly half a million members. Earlier, at Wayfair, she was CMO of the company's Birch Lane brand and Head of Acquisition and Paid Retention Marketing. She helped scale the business from roughly $2.5B to $14B, and her team won three straight Webby awards for best shopping app.
She began her career on the platform and publisher side of digital marketing, and later advised technology, media, and telecom clients at McKinsey & Company. Jess holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and a BA in Economics and Art History from the University of Pennsylvania.
