Joe McCambley
Chief Marketing Officer
Saatva
Joseph McCambley is a digital marketing pioneer with decades of experience driving customer acquisition, brand strategy, and creative direction. He originally joined Saatva in 2017 as Chief Strategy Officer before transitioning to the CMO role in late 2018.

As CMO, Mr. McCambley oversees the entirety of Saatva's marketing, brand, and customer acquisition strategies. He has provided pioneering leadership in evolving the company's marketing apparatus to support massive scale. Under his direction, he successfully built and launched Saatva's comprehensive in-house content, communications, public relations, social media, and creative functions. Crucially, Mr. McCambley championed the company's strategic expansion into upper-funnel marketing; he steadfastly drove this initiative to scale, even prior to the realization of immediate, measurable attribution, laying the foundational brand equity required for long-term, sustainable customer acquisition.

Mr. McCambley brings a formidable agency, corporate, and entrepreneurial leadership background. Most notably, he co-founded The Wonder Factory, a pioneering digital agency where he led the design and launch of massive-scale digital platforms and mobile applications. Under his leadership, the firm architected the original Huffingtonpost.com, designed Barnes & Noble's Nook Color interface, and spearheaded foundational web, mobile, and iPad launches for major brands including WebMD, The Weather Channel, Time, Sports Illustrated, National Geographic, and Comcast. Previously, as Chief Creative Officer at Digitas, he successfully revitalized a 400-person creative organization managing direct response and omnichannel campaigns for Fortune 500 brands such as AT&T, General Motors, and American Express. His extensive career also includes serving as SVP at AOL, serving as Chief Creative Officer at Modem Media, and founding the digital agency Thunder House.

Mr. McCambley holds a B.A. from the University of San Francisco.
