Conley Downing
Chief Marketing Officer
Archer Roose Wines
Conley Downing is a marketing executive and brand strategist who has spent nearly 20 years building premium consumer brands that earn cultural relevance and translate it into commercial growth.
Her career spans some of the most demanding marketing environments in the industry - from stewarding brands like Deleon Tequila and Cîroc Vodka inside Diageo's global portfolio, to serving as founding CMO at 21Seeds Tequila, which was acquired by Diageo within two years, to joining Pronghorn as employee number one and generating over 5 billion earned media impressions for a mission-driven platform built entirely from scratch. She is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Archer Roose Wines, delivering breakthrough strategy and programs that have delivered double-digit year over year growth and sustained retail velocity gains.
Conley speaks on brand strategy, cultural marketing and the discipline of building brands that earn attention rather than buy it. She brings real-world case studies, an honest perspective on what actually works and a deep belief that great marketing requires both a clear point of view and the commercial rigor to back it up.
When she isn't building brands, Conley is a mentor, a fitness enthusiast and a lifelong learner, having recently completed Mark Ritson's MiniMBA in Marketing. She is based in Fairfield, Connecticut.
