Emily Seal is a dynamic leader in the creative advertising industry, dedicated to expanding and celebrating the impact of creativity and fostering industry-wide innovation. In 2014, she began her journey with the Clios in a freelance events role before quickly transitioning to a full-time position on the program team. Her strategic mindset and dedication to excellence led her to various leadership positions across the business, where she has played a key role in growing entry revenue across the Clios’ five award programs, developing new opportunities to expand the business, developing and improving proprietary internal technology to enhance user experience, curating diverse juries responsible for evaluating submissions, and creating pathways for new and upcoming talent to join the Clios community.

One such initiative is the NextUp Jury, launched to help nurture future industry leaders. She also launched the Clio Health Champions Award, recognizing the unsung heroes who champion creativity behind the scenes in health marketing. Expanding her impact on a global scale, Emily recently launched the Clio Health Women’s Health Platform powered by the World Woman Foundation to further champion health equity and, most recently, announced a strategic partnership with the United Nations Foundation to encourage and celebrate creativity’s global impact on solving pressing world challenges.
Beyond her contributions to Clio Health, Emily has served as a host, panelist, and moderator for panels at the Clio Creative Summit, The Clio Awards Jury Retreat, Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Advertising Week, CES and more. With over a decade of experience at the Clios, she has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s approach to program development, client relations, and business strategy.
