Soo Jin Oh is Chief Strategy Officer at FreeWheel, a global technology platform for the TV advertising industry.

She joined FreeWheel in this newly created position in September 2022. In this role, Soo Jin works closely with company leadership to develop strategic plans in support of achieving FreeWheel’s long-term vision, enhance business operations and establish strong relationships within the technology, media and advertising landscape.

She brings more than 15 years of industry expertise, including in leading strategy, product and operations teams. Soo Jin joined FreeWheel from Gamut, where she rose from vice president, client strategy & solutions to president in five years.

Prior to Gamut, Soo Jin served as a senior leader in data business and ad operations at Magnetic, IDG TechNetwork and DogTime Media, Inc. (now Evolve Media), amongst other roles. She began her career as an account manager at Google.

A key player in the advertising industry, Soo Jin was named one of Cynopsis Media’s 2021 Top Women in Media as an Ad Tech Innovator and that same year, while at Gamut, the company was awarded Best TV Ad Tech Innovation at the Digiday Video & TV Awards. She also currently speaks at notable industry events such as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Soo Jin graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies: American Business and Globalization. She currently resides in New Jersey.
