Vindex
Mike Sepso is the Co-Founder and CEO of Vindex, an ESL FACEIT Group (EFG)-owned global gaming and technology company.

Sepso is an American videogames and digital media entrepreneur who was instrumental in the creation of the esports industry and has been shaping its growth since 2002, when he co-founded Major League Gaming (MLG). In September 2015, Sepso was appointed head of Activision Blizzard’s (ATVI) Media Networks Division by CEO Bobby Kotick to launch the company’s global esports business, and MLG was subsequently acquired by Activision Blizzard later that year. During Sepso’s time at ATVI, the company formed and launched the first franchised league in esports with Sepso overseeing global partnerships with companies including Intel, Toyota and HP.

Sepso founded Vindex in 2019 to provide major AAA game publishers with a global infrastructure and technology partner that could provide content production, software and data solutions to measure the impact of esports and gaming content investments. Within one year of launch, Vindex had secured multi-year relationships with most major AAA publishers including Activision Blizzard, EA, Microsoft, Epic and SuperCell. The company launched its Vindex Intelligence Platform, a cloud-based data and insights solution for publishers, creators and brands in 2022.

Sepso guided Vindex through its acquisition by ESL FACEIT Group, integrating the company into its new ecosystem and expanding Vindex’s world-class partner portfolio. He is currently a member of the EFG global executive team and oversees day to day operations of the Vindex business.

Sepso serves as a director for 100 Thieves esports organization; he is co-chair of the IAB Games Board; and is an advisor to Global Citizen. He has been a keynote speaker at most of the industry’s largest global conferences and was named a “Global Innovator” CEO by the World Economic Forum in 2021.

Sepso holds a B.S. in Management from Babson College. He lives in New York City with long time partner, composer, and pianist Chloe Flower.
