Ojo previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at M∙A∙C Cosmetics. Her illustrious career spans 25 years across various industries and includes positions as Chief Marketing Officer of Consumer Beauty at Coty, Senior Vice President at COVERGIRL, and brand and general management roles at Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser PLC, General Mills Corporation and MeadWestvaco Corporation.
Since joining Amazon, Ojo has led unprecedented global marketing campaigns for Prime Video’s biggest movies and series, including Coming 2 America, The Tender Bar, The Boys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, and The Tomorrow War. During her time as CMO, the company has garnered five Golden Globe wins for Being the Ricardos, The Underground Railroad, Small Axe, and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, two Oscars for Sound of Metal, four Oscar nominations for Being the Ricardos and Coming 2 America, 19 ProMax Marketing Awards, and 20 Emmy nominations for numerous titles.
During her career, Ojo has received more than 50 awards and honors including Business Insider’s Most Innovative CMOs and CMOs to Watch, Forbes World’s Most Influential CMOs, WWD Brand Builder of the Year, Ebony Magazine Power 100, Fast Company’s Top 100 list of Most Creative People in Business and more. She is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and a Member of the Executive Leadership Council.
Ojo is a graduate of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
