Angie Klein is the CEO of Visible, the first all-digital wireless carrier in the U.S, owned by Verizon. A high-energy, result-oriented leader with vast experience in commercial marketing and sales, Klein is an expert in consumer postpaid and prepaid mobile businesses, product line management, call center & retail operations, customer relationship management and strategic planning. With a 20-year tenure at Verizon, and an extensive background in managing start-ups within the telecommunications giant, Klein is uniquely poised to lead the disruptor brand through its next stages of growth and innovation.
Prior to Visible, Klein was Senior Vice President of Consumer Segment Marketing for Verizon, where she led value proposition development and pricing across the Verizon Consumer Group, as well as consumer home services including Verizon Fios and 5G Home.
Klein has also held numerous leadership roles in product development, new services brand and creative strategy, and customer experience design. She was responsible for groundbreaking initiatives including Mix and Match and the award-winning Verizon Up loyalty program. She also served as the Northeast Area VP, accountable for revenue and customer growth, where she led a team of more than 2,600 employees with responsibilities ranging from regional advertising and direct field and retail sales, to major call center customer care operations, with accountability for more than $5B in annual revenue. Earlier, Klein served as Vice President of New Product Development and Marketing Operations for Fios, and led customer delivery design for major programs across the voice, internet and TV businesses.
Klein originally joined Verizon in 2001 in a 2-year development program, and subsequently was one of the initial members of the Fios team, which served as a career launching pad.
Klein holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Nebraska in both business and journalism. She has also been recognized as a Alumni Master by her alma mater. Klein was named a David Rockefeller Fellow, and has served on the boards of the Lower East Side Girls Club in New York City and the Buckle (NYSE: BKE).
