Karl Varsanyi is the Chief Product & Experience Officer at Shipt. In this role, he oversees the teams responsible for envisioning, building and marketing Shipt’s products and experiences. Specifically, Karl guides the company’s product development and data strategies to enhance the user experience, performance marketing and design, brand and creative capabilities. Karl has more than 16 years of experience in the retail and technology industries, where he has built and supported new innovative products, platforms, teams and cultures across digital and physical retail. Karl joined Shipt in February 2020 and spent almost two years as Chief Product Officer before entering his newly expanded role as Chief Product & Experience Officer.

Prior to joining Shipt, Karl worked at Albertsons and Macy’s, where he built product organizations and developed eCommerce and digital capabilities. Karl has an MBA from Santa Clara University and BA in Business-Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
