With more than 10 years focused on precision marketing and data strategy, Alex Johnson is a Vice President at MediaLink where he focuses on guiding buy- and sell- side clients as well as investors on the impact of data on the marketing landscape.
At MediaLink, Alex has worked with over two dozen leading brands through the transformation required to place data at the center of marketing. This includes developing data strategies, designing precision marketing processes and operational frameworks, and guidance through the convergence of commerce and media. He applies this experience to guiding sell-side companies across "mad-tech", retail media, and publishers to drive growth by solving brand challenges through data and technology. This includes developing business strategies, optimized go to market, and product strategies to maximize value of data and technology driven solutions.
Prior to joining MediaLink in 2015, Alex gained foundational experience as an operator in the early days of programmatic and performance media. This experience includes Accuen (Omnicom), Performics (Publicis), and as a founding team member of a startup performance agency, InteractiveH2O where he served as the Director of Media Strategy, Technology, and Product.
