Leo O'Connor currently serves as SVP, Head of Programmatic Advertising & Yield at ViacomCBS. In this role, Leo oversees programmatic revenue across ViacomCBS's portfolio of CTV, mobile video, and display assets, managing a Platform Partnerships team, and a Programmatic sales team. As SVP of Yield, he is responsible for maximizing revenue per ad impression across EyeQ, the ad solution encompassing all ViacomCBS streaming products. This includes developing pricing & packaging strategy, accurately forecasting ad inventory and ad sales pipeline, and overseeing a large team of yield experts.
Additionally, Leo partners with ViacomCBS Distribution to negotiate & steward digital ad-supported content relationships, and with ViacomCBS Product & Tech org to drive advertising technology strategy.
Leo started at Viacom in 2006, and has held a number of roles in Yield Management, Ad Sales, Pricing & Inventory, and Platform Partnerships. In a prior life, he worked in Yield Management & pricing in the Airline industry. He has a degree in Mathematics & Economics from Notre Dame.
