Raymond “Ray” Kunik is a transformational Chief Digital Officer and ecosystem builder leading enterprise reinvention at global scale. As Head of Digital at 3M, Ray drives digital and AI transformation across one of the world’s most diversified innovation companies—modernizing commercial excellence, advancing agentic AI platforms, and unlocking enterprise-wide growth through data, technology, and human-centered design.

Over his career, Ray has led large-scale digital transformations across Fortune 500 companies including Hertz, Ford, General Motors, Ally Financial, Danaher, and Resideo (Honeywell spin-off), stewarding multi-hundred-million-dollar investment portfolios and driving more than $1B in incremental growth and responsible for over $3B in revenue generation. He has built global digital commerce platforms, launched direct-to- consumer and B2B ecosystems, modernized financial institutions into digital-first enterprises, and secured board approval for landmark transformation programs exceeding $150M.

As former CDO of Resideo Technologies, Ray led the digital strategy and transformation of the IPO spin-off from Honeywell into a globally connected SaaS and home products leader, pioneering new subscription-based service models and connected ecosystems.

Beyond the enterprise, Ray serves as Chair of the Board of the Austin Technology Council, where he champions “One Austin”—a collaborative innovation ecosystem uniting startups, scale-ups, universities, and global enterprises. He is a vocal advocate for responsible AI, agentic systems, and the convergence of digital platforms with human potential.

A hybrid operator-strategist, Ray blends technology transformation with commercial growth strategy, specializing in AI-enabled experiences, omnichannel ecosystems (DTC/B2C/B2B), and scalable digital product platforms. He is known for building cultures that win as one team—grounded in collaboration, innovation, and measurable outcomes.

Ray holds a Master of Science in Administration and Information Technology Management from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs, Public Policy Analysis, and Economics from Wayne State University.
