Harvey Ma serves as the Vice President and General Manager of Sam’s Club Member Access Platform (MAP), Sam’s Club’s retail media business. MAP is a significant growth driver for the business, leveraging over 40 years of first-party data to enhance members’ shopping experiences while delivering impactful results for advertisers. In this role, he manages the end-to-end business portfolio, including teams across Sales, Account Management, Advertising Operations, Media Strategy, Marketing, Product, Data/Analytics and other functions.
Harvey brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles in retail, manufacturing, engineering and telecommunications. Before joining Sam’s Club, he was Vice President at Albertsons Media Collective, where he established their Retail Media business. He has also held the position of Senior Vice President for Omni, Consumer and Retail Performance at NielsenIQ, and served as the Head of Sales and Marketing at Roundel, Target Corporation’s in-house marketing/advertising agency.
Harvey earned his MBA from The University of Minnesota and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
