Kyle Laughlin leads technology and engineering efforts at Walt Disney Imagineering, where he is responsible for developing and implementing a clear vision for the use of technology across all aspects of Disney’s theme park, cruise ship and hotel businesses. He oversees a global team of engineers, designers, artists and scientists who share a passion for solving impossible problems and building groundbreaking experiences in the areas of robotics, animatronics, artificial intelligence, AR and VR, to name just a few.

Kyle previously led Disney’s Global Games, Apps & Connected Experiences group, where he oversaw all strategy, product, design, engineering, marketing, and operations for Disney and Lucasfilm games, mobile apps and connected hardware experiences. Prior to that role he headed up Disney Interactive Labs, which developed digital products for new and emerging consumer platforms. Outside of Disney Kyle was CEO and a board member of Surfline, a company at the center of innovation in artificial intelligence and computer vision, and he also held senior leadership roles at Amazon, and Yahoo!, where he led the development and growth of subscription video services, games, mobile apps, and sports and entertainment products across multiple platforms and geographies.
