He has held a range of leading marketing positions at Unilever, where he developed and launched the ground-breaking marketing philosophy, Get on the Frontline, which brought Unilever’s brands back on the creative stage and effectiveness at the heart of the company’s marketing. Now he drives change at scale through Knorr's creative revival: reconnecting a vast global brand with local culture.

Knorr, Unilever's second-largest brand, is loved for the convenience and flavour it brings to home cooking, with 600 stock cubes sold every minute. Under Niek’s leadership, the brand continues to evolve and now focuses on helping a new generation of home cooks finding their way in the kitchen through attention grabbing, culturally relevant campaigns.
