Bennett Richardson is a seasoned public affairs and media executive who brings nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, policy, and journalism to his role as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the National Association of REALTORS. His career reflects a consistent ability to build credibility for complex organizations in politically and culturally charged environments.

Prior to joining NAR, Richardson served as General Manager and Global Head of Public Affairs at Semafor, where he led the influential Washington bureau and spearheaded global strategic initiatives. Before that, he directed policy marketing at Google, leading communications to policymakers and key opinion formers across the United States and internationally. His career also includes leadership roles at POLITICO Media Group, where he served as President of Protocol and Executive Director of POLITICO Europe. Richardson has built award-winning public affairs campaigns for Fortune 100 companies and is a recognized thought leader who has spoken at the World Economic Forum, SXSW, and Cannes Lions.

Originally from Portland, Maine, Bennett received his BA from Colgate University. He lives in Washington DC with his wife Lindsey, their two children and their dog Daisy.
