Mahta Eghbali is the Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Global Partnerships at Mattel. She joined Mattel in 2024 in her role overseeing promotions and partnerships across Mattel’s portfolio of brands. Since joining the company, Mahta has helped drive a range of high-profile brand collaborations and cultural partnerships including with Expedia (Ken), Vrbo (UNO), Xfinity (Magic 8 Ball), and Barbie collaborations with Coachella, Edikted, Verizon, Dunkin’ Donuts and Erewhon.
Prior to joining Mattel, Mahta held senior leadership roles at Apple both on product and services, most recently serving as the Global Head of Synergy and Partnerships for Apple Services. She was responsible for building and leading Apple’s promotional partnerships and ecosystem marketing across Apple Music and Apple TV+. Her tenure at Apple also included driving third party partnerships with the App Store and building customer facing products and digital experiences for the Apple Online Store.
Mahta started her career as a strategy consultant at Accenture in the products and technology practice. Mahta received her undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of California, Haas School of Business.
