Lee Brown has spent more than two decades building and scaling high-growth advertising businesses at the intersection of technology, media, and commerce. He joined Pinterest in 2026 as the company’s first Chief Business Officer.

In his role, Lee leads Pinterest’s global business, overseeing revenue and customer-facing operations that serve advertising clients, content publishers, and creators. He is responsible for the company’s revenue and monetization as Pinterest strengthens its AI-powered performance advertising solutions. 

Prior to joining Pinterest, Lee was Chief Revenue Officer at DoorDash. Before DoorDash, he served as Vice President, Global Head of Advertising at Spotify, where he oversaw the company’s advertising business across nearly 90 markets and helped more than double its growth. 

Earlier in his career, Lee was Chief Revenue Officer at BuzzFeed and held senior leadership roles at Tumblr, Groupon, and Yahoo, where he helped pioneer modern digital advertising and media sales and built global sales organizations.

He is a proven leader developing new revenue streams, building and leading large teams through rapid growth, and delivering value for advertisers in fast-changing markets. He is passionate about deepening client and publisher partnerships, and advancing Pinterest’s mission of bringing everyone the inspiration to create a life they love.
