Joaquina
Latin Grammy-Winning Singer-Songwriter
At just twenty-one years old, Venezuelan singer-songwriter Joaquina has quickly become one of Latin pop's rising stars. Since moving from Caracas to Miami with her family at age 6, Joaquina has always been a precocious talent. By the age of 8, he was already writing songs after studying guitar, piano, and adjusting his vocal skils. Since then, she has managed to forge her reputation as the newest exponent in a lineage of young, empowered women. His poetic pop-rock reflections on heartbreak, rage and adolescent angst are reminiscent of the early works of contemporary artists, as wel as renowned singer-songwriters.

Joaquina's musical style, focused on returning to the roots of Latin pop, quickly caught the attention of established talents. GRAMMY-winning producer Julio Reyes Copelo (Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez) chose her to participate in the prestigious music program with Abbey Road Institute, and she has continued to hone her skils on stage, such as opening act for Fonseca, Alejandro Sanz and Morat on their tours. She was also nominated twice during the 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards. She is the youngest artist to be nominated in the category of 'Best Singer-Songwriter Album' for her debut EP 'Los Mejores Años', taking home the coveted statuette for: 'Best New Artist'.

Released in 2023 and criticaly acclaimed, 'Los Mejores Años (notas de diario)' brings together live recordings, words recorded via voice notes and classic pop rock in Spanish. The EP, produced by Joaquina and Julio Reyes Copelo, boasts songs such as the main theme "Rabia", the song that gives the album its title, which summarizes folk-pop traditions in a sound experience with which anyone who remembers their first heartbreak can feel identified. An upcoming reissue of the EP dives deeper into the diaristic, with Joaquina openly sharing her creative process.

"I think with this EP I found my 'essence' for the first time but this is just the tip of the iceberg," he said. "I've learned to be more flexible when it comes to writing, to be faster, but also to trust myself more, to expand my vocabulary and my concepts... I think everything flows according to who I am as a person and my own natural evolution."

In 2024, the Venezuelan-American singer-songwriter continued to demonstrate why she is considered one of the most talented and promising artists in Latin music. Joaquina, who was the only Latin music artist, had the opportunity to join Andrea Boceli at the concert celebrating the Italian artist's 30th anniversary in Hyde Park, London, in front of more than 30,000 fans, where she performed "Vivo por ela" as a duet. Likewise, Joaquina performed in Mexico and Spain with sold-out shows and achieved a historic profile on the cover of Cosmopolitan Spain. In addition, the singer-songwriter released several singles, including "Desahogo", "Quise Quererte", "Escapar De Mí", "Pesimista", "No Llames Lo Mío Nuestro", "El Alquimista", "Todo y Nada" and "Aeropuerto" that are part of her debut album Al Romper La Burbuja, released on January 31, 2025. The album was acclaimed by media such as Bilboard, Roling Stone en Español, People en Español and E! Now, being considered one of the best releases of the year.

In 2025, Joaquina began her first tour, breaking the tour bubble, with sold-out concerts in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona and Miami, among others, touring throughout Latin America and key points in the United States, bringing her music to fans around the world. His talent was once again recognized by the Latin Recording Academy with four more nominations for his debut album, including Album of the Year, Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop/Rock Song ("No Llames Lo Mío Nuestro") and Best Singer-Songwriter Song ("Aeropuerto").

After spending a month in Spain, where she participated as co-coach in the current season of La Voz España with Malú, Joaquina also opened Sebastián Yatra's Entre Tanta Gente tour in Barcelona and Madrid, further consolidating her international presence.

On January 30, 2026, he releases his album deluxe al romper la burbuja 2, with 5 new songs that complete the bubble universe.

On March 14 and 15 he participates in Lolapalooza Argentina and Lolapalooza Chile, opening the main stage in Argentina.

On March 22 it sold out in Madrid, adding a second date with special guest Malú.

In a world of electronic trends and rhythms, Joaquina's acoustic and honest songwriting is a balm for young women trying to connect with themselves during a period of disconnection. Nineteen is a time to question, to live longer, and to put aside the comfort zone in search of alignment; it is in this chaotic bittersweet feeling that Joaquina's music flourishes.
