Keisha Taylor Starr is executive vice president, chief marketing officer for The E.W. Scripps enterprise and General Manager, Scripps Networks. In this role, she leads the Scripps Networks division and all initiatives aimed at raising the visibility of the Scripps company’s family of brands with audiences and advertisers, including programming, strategy, and research.

Before joining Scripps in 2022 as the CMO of Scripps Networks, Keisha served as senior vice president of marketing and public relations for the digital news startup, The Recount. Before that, as senior vice president of integrated marketing at Learfield IMG College, she oversaw all marketing, including graphic design, research and analytics, client insights and innovation and events at the sports marketing agency. She also spent a decade with Warner Bros Discovery (formerly Turner Broadcasting), leading award-winning teams across entertainment (TNT/tbs) and news (CNN) networks. Keisha started her career in account management at BBDO agency in Atlanta. Keisha was named one of the 2023 Top Women in Media by news industry publisher Cynopsis Media and in 2024 was named a CableFax “Most Powerful Women” honoree.

Keisha holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications/media studies from Hampton University. She is based in Atlanta.
