Lara Krug has served as Kansas City's Executive Vice President and Chief Media and Marketing Officer since 2021, becoming the franchise's first CMO. Entering her fourth NFL season in 2025, she oversees all club marketing functions, consumer products, and leads international growth initiatives in Germany, Mexico, the UK, Ireland, and Spain. Under her leadership, the Chiefs launched Foolish Club Studios for original content production, reached one million YouTube subscribers (a first for NFL teams), and grew their social footprint by four million in 2024. Prior to joining the Chiefs, Krug held various marketing leadership positions at Anheuser-Busch InBev, including Vice President of U.S. Marketing for Stella Artois, and worked at L'Oréal USA and Avon. She holds a B.A. from Miami University (2007) and resides with her husband Colin and children Blake and Carter.
