Jessica Giles is the Managing Director of the Media Experience Practice at Code and Theory, the technology and creative network behind Vogue.com, CNN’s Magic Wall and the recent relaunches of the Star Tribune and TechCrunch. In this role, Giles will oversee the modernization of media and publishing brands, helping them redefine the future through smarter strategies, better tech and bigger ideas.

Giles was previously the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, which she led to its largest audience in history. Named Editor of the Year by Adweek and a Woman to Watch by AdAge, she published award-winning journalism and built first-to-market platforms and digital products with partners like OpenAI and Google.

Prior to Cosmopolitan, Giles oversaw the digital transformation of Marie Claire and played a key role in the evolutions of Teen Vogue and Glamour. She spent her early career at The New Yorker, Vogue, and e-commerce start-up I Like What You’re Wearing.

A prominent speaker, Giles has addressed the Oxford Union, appeared on the main stage at Cannes Lions, and presented at CES, Forbes Women’s Summit, the Matrix Awards, and others; she has appeared as a guest on TV shows and podcasts including Good Morning America, CBS Sunday Morning and MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
