Leandro Barreto is the Beauty & Wellbeing Global CMO at Unilever, responsible for global revenue growth and profit, brand equity management, brand building, global innovation program delivery and digital marketing transformation of iconic global brands such as Dove, Vaseline, Sunsilk, TRESemmé, Clear and PONDS Skin Institute. He has over 20 years of marketing experience driving growth through clear consistent brand building and delivering impactful creative.
Throughout his time at Unilever, Leandro has held roles within Beauty, Homecare, Personal Care and Nutrition, across multi-cultural contexts in Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to becoming Beauty & Wellbeing Global CMO, Leandro served as a marketing leader for Dove for the past 12 years, making contributions that were instrumental to the consistent and steady growth of the brand. Under Leandro’s leadership, the brand delivered multiple successful innovations, design for retailer initiatives, and impactful customers partnerships across the years. Most recently, as head of One-Dove North America, Leandro pioneered an end-to-end engagement model that turbo charged Dove’s brand love and brought significant impact for the business, helping to accelerate Dove cross category growth, and inserting the brand into culture, securing its brand equity and marketing model.
