Jeremy Helfand is global vice president and head of advertising for Prime Video at Amazon. In this role, Helfand oversees the Prime Video advertising business, with a focus on business strategy, customer experience, product innovation, and technology development. Helfand works closely with Amazon Ads and Amazon MGM Studios to build and support the best streaming ads experience and solutions for customers and advertisers.
Prior to Amazon, Helfand was executive vice president, head of advertising platforms at The Walt Disney Company, where he initiated the advertising platform organization, first at Hulu and then for Disney’s overall global advertising business, including Hulu, Disney Plus, ESPN, and other properties. In these roles, he oversaw the advertising platform strategy, product innovation, engineering, operations, and partnerships.
Previously, Helfand served as vice president and general manager of Adobe’s Primetime business unit and its media and entertainment vertical where he led the global business for the company’s video delivery and monetization solutions. During his tenure, Helfand launched Adobe’s multi-screen platform that powers some of the industry’s largest multi-screen digital events including the Olympics, World Cup soccer, and the NFL’s Super Bowl, among others. Helfand also previously served as the CEO of Auditude (acquired by Adobe in 2011), a video ad management and monetization tech company.
Helfand is trustee emeritus at the Viewpoint School, former board member at the Ronald McDonald House of Southern California and former member of the IAB Video Board. He graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He and his family live in Los Angeles.
