A seasoned publishing executive with deep roots in sales, client service, general management and go-to-market development. Lisa joined The Times in 2016 after a long run at Conde Nast and leadership roles at Billboard, Yahoo, and WebMD to lead a large chunk of our sales team. Since that time, Ms. Howard has taken on increasingly large and complex challenges successfully. She is known as a builder of deep relationships in the market, and a highly accountable driver of results. Among Lisa’s biggest accomplishments at The Times are leading the development of The Times’s first and highly successful live Food Festival in 2019, expansion of The Times’s advertising operations outside the U.S., and leading and developing an exceptionally strong sales leadership team. Howard has also served as an advisory board member to multiple digital startups and as an adjunct professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business. A former competitive swimmer, she competed in the 1988 Olympic Swimming Trials and was an NCAA Scholar-Athlete.
