Mike Tierney, the founder and CEO of Stuffed Puffs, was born with an affinity for cooking. He scored a highly competitive job at Napa Valley’s Three Michelin-starred The French Laundry before finishing high school. He went on to work at Manhattan’s Eleven Madison Park, as part of the team that earned the restaurant numerous accolades including ‘Best Restaurants in North America,’ ‘Three Michelin Stars’ and more. While in fine dining kitchens, Mike dreamed of making the perfect s’more and saw an opportunity to revolutionize the treat. Walmart ordered Stuffed Puffs on the spot after Mike roasted marshmallows in their hall during a separate pitch meeting. With the funding and orders secured, he built the infrastructure needed to get Stuffed Puffs moving. Today, Stuffed Puffs has nearly 200 team members, a Bethlehem, PA headquarters, and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The three-year-old brand is carried in over 30,000 retailers across the U.S., including Target, Walmart, and CVS and is projected to gross nearly $80 million in retail sales in 2022. Mike earned his bachelor’s degree from The Culinary Institute of America, where he now sits on the Board of Trustees.
