Sejal Shah Miller
Chief Marketing Officer
Converse
Sejal Shah Miller is the Chief Marketing Officer at Converse. Her mission is simple: to future-proof Converse and leave it in a stronger position than when she found it. She is a diversity, equity and inclusion champion who fosters a culture of collaboration while delivering breakthrough work in fast-paced, highly competitive marketplaces. This is evidenced in Converse’s latest campaign, “Create Now. Create Next.” which redefines the "ad" as an act of co-creation and offers creators from multiple cultural intersections a platform for discovery.
Before Converse, Sejal held marketing leadership roles across industries, where she was instrumental in driving growth, relevance and award-winning work. As SVP/Global GM at the Estée Lauder Companies, she spearheaded a digital marketing growth strategy to reestablish affinity for the Smashbox brand, specifically targeting millennial and Gen Z consumers. Prior to Estée Lauder, Sejal spent five years in marketing leadership at Mattel, where she led the successful growth of iconic brands including Barbie, Disney Princess, Polly Pocket, UNO, and Scrabble. During this time, she and her team played a pivotal role in architecting Barbie’s turnaround and evolution to modernize the brand to be more accessible and relatable for a broader, more diverse audience. She has also held marketing leadership roles at L’Oréal and JP Morgan.
Sejal was named to Brand Innovators Top 100 Women in Marketing in 2021 and 2022. She received her B.A. in both Economics and Psychology from New York University and an MBA in Marketing and Management from Columbia Business School.
