Cheryl Gresham
Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President, Marketing
Verizon Value
Cheryl Gresham is the CMO of the newly-formed Verizon Value organization, inclusive of Total by Verizon; Straight Talk; Tracfone; Verizon Prepaid; Simple Mobile; Safelink; Walmart Family Mobile; and Visible, the first all-digital wireless carrier in the U.S. As CMO, Cheryl leads the holistic marketing strategy across the Verizon Value portfolio, overseeing brand identity and awareness, demand generation and creative campaigns, media investment optimization, CRM and base management, and more.
Cheryl joined Visible in December 2021 as CMO, and helped drive Visible’s subscriber growth by >60% in that time. Under her leadership, Visible evolved its marketing to be more data- and insights-led, with a re-centered focus on the simple and disruptive one-line value proposition and core digital-savvy single line segment.
Cheryl joined the Verizon team after serving as the head of marketing and media for some of the largest and most culturally relevant Fortune 500 companies in the world, including Coca-Cola, Taco Bell, YouTube, and TikTok. She has led consumer adoption of these brands and products through unprecedented moments of crisis and new opportunities to create new categories. From driving record-setting new user growth at TikTok amidst national scrutiny and a federal executive order to sanction the app, to leading Taco Bell’s most successful campaign during a wave of low consumer confidence, and launching and growing new products in new categories at YouTube, she has a track-record of turning challenges into years of record-setting growth for brands, across industries.
