Loud And Live
Nelson Albareda, a Cuban-American business executive and GRAMMY® & Latin GRAMMY® Award winning producer, has over 25 years of diverse experience across media, live entertainment, marketing, content, sports and real estate.
In 1990, Albareda got an early start in business at the age of 14, where his passion for entrepreneurship took-off. Early on, Nelson had a successful career as a young professional, quickly moving up the ranks across multiple diverse companies and industries, including across advertising, spirits, entertainment and media sectors. Initially starting at RMM Records (Universal Music), and eventually ending up at Univision Radio, where he was responsible for creating the company’s non-traditional revenue initiatives across the organization.
In 2002, Albareda saw an opportunity in the events, entertainment and marketing space, which is where he had early success as an entrepreneur. Most notably in 2008, Albareda established Eventus Marketing, which quickly grew to become the largest multicultural marketing company in the US, servicing a wide-range of marquee clients such as Sony Music, New York Yankees, Kimberly-Clark, Keurig Dr Pepper, Walt Disney Entertainment and the Latin GRAMMY’s among many others. In 2013, Eventus was approached for acquisition by various strategic and private equity groups, including WPP, Thomas H. Lee Partners and Advantage Solutions. Ultimately Albareda sold Eventus to Apax Partners (who owned parent company Advantage Solutions) via a roll-up strategy.
In 2017, Albareda established Loud And Live, where he currently serves as CEO. The company has quickly grown to be a dominant player across entertainment, sports, live events, content development and marketing. Today, Loud And Live is considered one of the top global promoters in the world, consistently ranked within the top 15 globally by Billboard and Pollstar. As CEO of the company, Albareda has consistently been honored by Billboard as one of the most influential figures in entertainment, including yearly recognition on Billboard’s Top 100 Entertainment Executives, as well as on Billboards Top 40 Latin Power Players. Nelson is also frequently asked to speak at industry conferences, including ILMC, Billboard, Variety and Latin GRAMMY events.
Loud And Live also works with some of the top global brands, including McDonalds, Walmart, Amazon, RedBull, Pepsi, Samsung, Latin GRAMMY’s and Univision among others. Much of Loud And Live’s marketing services work continue to be recognized by the industry, including being named yearly as one of Event Marketer’s Top 100 “IT LIST” Agency” since 2021, as well as having won multiple awards for its brand work, including multiple Telly Award and EX-Award’s.
Albareda also has a long history of serving his community. In 2010, he was appointed by the US Congress to serve as a Commissioner on the Federal Commission to provide a report to President Obama on the creation of the National Museum of the American Latino. He also currently serves as a Director on the US Cuba Democracy PAC, a Cuban-American group that advocates democracy in Cuba. In 2022, through Loud And Live, Nelson made the largest single donation to the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation, committing $1 million to support the Foundations year-round efforts, including furthering its mission so support music and its makers through college scholarships, grants and educational programs.
In addition to his endeavors at Loud And Live, Nelson owns and operates a growing real-estate portfolio and management company, focused on commercial and multi-family properties in South Florida.
Most recently in 2023, Nelson was inducted in the Miami Dade College Alumni Hall of Fame. He lives in Miami with his wife Elena, and three beautiful children Nelson Alejandro, Gabriela, and Francisco.
