Becky Kent is the Vice President of Impact at TOMS. She serves as a member of the TOMS Leadership Team and leads the 360-impact strategy across the organization consisting of impact grantmaking, environmental sustainability, impact communications, and purpose culture. Becky oversees high-quality impact operations and advances strategic partnerships in service of TOMS's mission of using business to improve lives.
In this role, Becky ensures the highest quality impact through global impact partner development, powerful storytelling, and transparent reporting. She manages the TOMS team responsible for environmental sustainability efforts, B Corp certification, and employee engagement.
During her eleven years with TOMS, Becky has worked to transition the TOMS impact model from One for One to now giving 1/3 of its profits for grassroots good with a focus on mental health - specifically helping fund access to mental health resources. She has a passion for developing deep, trust-based partnerships with nonprofits and finding ways to tell their impact stories.
Prior to joining TOMS, Becky worked primarily in the non-profit sector including spending her early career with World Vision International in Southeast Asia.
Becky holds an MA in International Development from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and a BA in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. She resides in Los Angeles with her spouse and two children.
