Deborah joined The Co-operative Bank over 12 years ago. A passionate marketer, she has worked across a number of brands including La Redoute, Swinton Insurance and Britannia Building Society facing a whole host of different challenges throughout her 25 year marketing career. In this time she has put into action her passion for combining the creativity and accountability of marketing to deliver compelling brand and marketing strategies and outstanding business results.

She brings a breadth of business management experience and project delivery across retail, mail order and financial services where she has successfully tackled commercial challenges across a diverse range of industries.

Alongside her marketing career Deborah has lectured part time on the masters programme at the University of Salford and has given guest lectures and key note speeches at other leading universities.

Deborah’s current role as Director of Brand, Marketing and Communications at The Co-operative Bank ensures alignment of all messaging to the unique brand positioning as the Bank continues to invest in growing awareness and consideration. In her time at the Bank, Deborah has led the development of many significant integrated marketing campaigns, which include the Bank’s ‘People with Purpose’ brand refresh in 2019, ‘25 Years of Ethical Banking campaign’ in 2017, ‘It’s good to be different’ campaign in 2016 and ‘For all the right reasons’ campaign in 2015.

Deborah is married to Damian and has an 8 year old daughter.
