Sean C. Sansiveri serves as General Counsel & Head of Business for the NFLPA’s for-profit subsidiary, NFL Players Inc., and leads the Union’s health, safety and medical research initiatives. Most recently, Sean directed the NFLPA’s efforts to develop and implement the COVID-19 Protocols. Over the last 10 years, Sean has designed numerous protective measures intended to minimize the occupational health risks to NFL players. These include the NFL Concussion Protocols and a pain management program that encompasses the first prescription drug registry program in the history of professional sports. As Head of Business Affairs, Sean leads all new business opportunities in developing markets and industries and overseas negotiations of partnership transactions as well as numerous aspects of collective bargaining with the NFL. Sean also serves on the board of the American Brain Foundation, the Harvard Football Player Health Study and MIACH Orthopedics.
