Sherí Barros is a purpose-driven brand executive with a body of work spanning 20 years across some of the most recognized sports entertainment brands. As the Vice President of Global Sports Alliances for the American Cancer Society, she leads brand partnerships with professional sports leagues, brands, and talent to advance the mission. At the intersection of corporate social responsibility and cause marketing, her team manages campaigns with sports partners who are critical to leading the fight for a world without cancer. Working alongside the NFL, NHL, WTA, NBA, over 50 player ambassadors and more to raise awareness and funds to fight cancer. Ms. Barros and her team’s work with sports partners also focuses on health equity - to help ensure that no one is disadvantaged in the fight against cancer.

Prior to ACS, her career includes management of the marketing department for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, and Vice President of Marketing for Cooper Holdings Inc, parent company to CSE sports agency, where she led clients’ sponsorship portfolios across the U.S. within the NBA, MLS, International Soccer, Action Sports, WWE, and worked alongside leading entertainment agencies: CAA and UEG.

Ms. Barros’ expertise has been solicited as a Chief Brand Strategist & Consultant on a national and global level. In 2019, Sherí was selected to join the jury of Cannes Lions International Festival’s inaugural ‘Entertainment for Sport’ awards in France. She serves on the Advisory Boards of the Artists & Athletes Alliance, Brand Innovators Council, and has also served as an Adjunct Instructor at New York University and UCLA. An Atlanta native, Ms. Barros received her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, and master’s degree from the University of North Texas.
