Matty’s entrepreneurial journey began at Tulane University, where he founded Now Or Never Records, Inc. from his dorm room. Under his leadership, the label secured major distribution deals and represented over 25 acts with global touring footprints, leading to a successful exit. He then founded Natural Selection, a Los Angeles-based motion picture fund, which he scaled into a multi-billion-dollar private equity group, financing numerous high-profile projects in Hollywood. In 2009, he launched Beckerman Investment Group, a family office focused on diverse investments, including early-stage tech startups and real estate, further demonstrating his ability to capitalize on lucrative opportunities across sectors.
Matty's expertise also extends internationally; he was instrumental in establishing Nebras Films, the first movie studio in Saudi Arabia.
