Over the course of her career, Alexandra Moore has built an extensive depth and breadth of experience as both an investor and an operator across consumer internet, digital content, and creator / talent industries including music, gaming, social, and sports. Alex's functional skill set includes M&A / corporate development, global partnerships, monetization strategy and revenue generation, corporate finance and financial strategy including capitalization and entity structuring, content licensing, e-commerce, data and analytics, new business and product launches, and go-to-market. Alex specializes in identifying and developing profitable transactions and launching new ventures that seamlessly pair talent, culture, and business, with a sharp focus on maximizing returns.

Alex currently serves as Chief Business Officer at EMPIRE, the largest independent record label and all-encompassing digital media distribution company in the US by market share with 250 employees globally across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The company has launched the careers of global superstars including Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, and Anderson.Paak. The company has 200+ artists signed to its label including Shaboozey, T-Pain, Fat Joe, Tyga, Asake, Jay Wheeler, and more, and 2,000+ artists signed to its distribution business. EMPIRE artists have been streamed tens of billions of times, garnered 100s of RIAA certifications (diamond, platinum, and gold), and won countless Grammys. As CBO, Alex has P&L responsibility and leads strategic business, revenue, and go-to-market functions including business development, sync licensing, commerce (merchandise and vinyl), events and experiential activations, M&A / investing, and content licensing to DSPs (SPOT, Apple etc.).



Prior to joining EMPIRE, Alex served as Founder, Managing Director, and a Board Director of Night Capital, the first of its kind $100MM growth equity fund connected to MrBeast's talent management agency. The fund was focused on acquiring interest in consumer-facing companies and building partnerships with relevant creators to drive business growth. In this role, she was named one of "Hollywood's Top Dealmakers of 2022" by The Hollywood Reporter.



Previously, she was GM / Head of Global Strategic Initiatives for Amazon Music, where she launched multiple disruptive new businesses including Amazon Music Live (concert livestreaming) Amp (live radio), and Amazon Music Merch shop (concert music merchandise). Previously she was an executive on Amazon's Corporate Development / M&A team where she led global investments and acquisitions for all of the company’s digital content, consumer internet, and device businesses, including Music, Games, Twitch, social, health and wellness, mobile, hardware and software (FireTV, Alexa / Echo), etc.

Prior to her time at Amazon, Alex held numerous corporate development and investment banking roles.

Alex is a graduate of The University of California, Berkeley, where she received a BS from the Haas School of Business and a BA in Political Science, both with highest honors, and earned an MBA from The Wharton School with concentrations in finance and management.
