Deirdre Lester is the Chief Executive Officer of Teton Ridge, the premier Western sports media, lifestyle and entertainment company committed to preserving and elevating the iconic western way of life. In her role as CEO, Lester oversees Teton Ridge’s Sports, Media, Entertainment, Lifestyle, and Equine divisions.
Prior to joining Teton Ridge, Ms. Lester was the CEO of Outsider, a lifestyle and media company that celebrated the American outdoors. She joined Outsider from Barstool Sports where she served as CRO and scaled revenue exponentially, playing an instrumental role in the company’s rise by developing large scale partnerships across advertising, sponsorship, and licensing. Deirdre is a trusted sales and marketing executive with 25 years of experience in media sales and sales management in the interactive space. She is comfortable in highly competitive markets and proficient in emerging technology and advertising fields including social and mobile. Having worked at both Fortune 500 sales organizations and highly entrepreneurial companies, she understands the leadership skills which are required to build start-ups as well as the balance needed within more established organizations.
Through top-notch sales training at CNET and ESPN as well as years or hands on managerial experience at Rivals.com, Y! Sports and MLBAM, she maintains well-honed strategic selling and negotiating skills and direct dialogue with executives and senior officers at Fortune 500 companies, top advertising agencies, and leading professional sports teams and sports media outlets. She demonstrates dedication to revenue growth, team development, and establishing everlasting partnerships through a consultative approach.
