Aaron Rios is Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations Strategic Initiatives at Walmart, where he leads campaigns, legislative influence, and grassroots development in support of the company's corporate strategic initiatives across the United States. He spent his first 13 years at Walmart in store operations, rising from Store Manager to Market Manager, before joining the Public Affairs and Government Relations team in 2007. There, he led state and local government relations across Walmart's Western and Midwestern Business Units, working with elected officials on legislative and community engagement, before being promoted to Senior Director in 2014 and stepping into his current role in 2015.
