Lorna Sommerville
Co-Chief Executive Officer
Levain Bakery
Lorna Sommerville is Co-CEO of Levain Bakery. Over more than two decades in consumer marketing, she has helped some of the most recognizable names in food, beauty, and consumer goods find their next phase of growth. For the last several years, she's brought that same instinct to Levain.

Scottish-born and raised in South Africa, Lorna moved to the U.S. in 2010 after a decade in global brand leadership at The Coca-Cola Company, including leading the international marketing deployment of the company's 2010 FIFA World Cup campaign across 160 markets. She went on to serve as the first ever VP of Marketing at Harry's, where she scaled the marketing team and helped the brand reach a leading share position as it moved from DTC into mass retail. As Chief Marketing Officer of Function of Beauty, she led the brand's expansion into new categories, countries, and did the DTC-to-mass retail move again, earning Target's Vendor of the Year honor in 2021.

Lorna joined Levain Bakery as Chief Marketing Officer in 2021, and was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer in 2023, leading Marketing, Innovation, New Store Design, Customer Experience, and Ecommerce. Her commercial leadership has fueled strong topline growth, resilient same-store sales performance, and margin gains across both retail and ecommerce.

Known for helping founder-built brands scale without losing what made them special, Lorna brings a global perspective and deep respect for brand legacy to her new role. As Co-CEO, she's focused on building a vision the entire Levain organization can rally behind as the brand enters its next chapter of growth.
