Julie Bowerman has over 25 years of CPG experience in a variety of marketing, commercial and digital roles. Julie has been with Kellogg for 3 years and is currently the Chief Marketing Officer of North America. Her first role at Kellogg was the Global Digital Customer and Consumer Experience Officer with responsibility for Kellogg’s $750M+ online ecommerce business, all digital brand experiences, global media planning and buying and shopper marketing. Prior to Kellogg’s, she was the SVP of Global Ecommerce and Digital Engagement for Hain Celestial, a leading global organic food and personal care company. Julie was GM of Hain’s ecommerce business which included accountability to the $135M P&L, retail partnerships, digital marketing and brand experience across their portfolio of 55+ brands.

Prior to Kellogg’s and Hain Celestial, Julie spent most of her career at Coca-Cola. Her most recent role at Coca-Cola was Global Vice President of Shopper Marketing and eCommerce where she was responsible for the strategy and execution of Coke’s global ecommerce business and shopper marketing capability. Previous to that role, she built Coca-Cola’s US ecommerce business where she was accountable to develop Coke’s US ecommerce vision and strategy as well as run and manage the P&L. Julie also led digital marketing for the Coke portfolio and started their loyalty and CRM program known as My Coke Rewards. Her early years at Coke included traditional CPG roles in brand marketing, media, promotions, customer management and commercial strategy and execution.

In addition to Kellogg, Julie serves on the Board of Directors of Brixmor Property Group Inc. and Bridges Healthcare. She also serves on the non-profit board of 48in48, a social entrepreneurship organization that provides volunteerism, education and awareness to small 501c3 organizations and serves on the advisory board of OTHRSource, a tech start-up that brings together great brands and people to provide an innovative way to win in retail merchandising. She also volunteers and mentors high school students at Cristo Rey in Atlanta and is mentor at Hire Hope an organization that builds career readiness for women coming out of homelessness, exploitation, and human trafficking.

Julie lives in Atlanta with her husband Greg and daughter Reilly. She has her under-graduate degree from the University of Dayton, post-graduate degree from Michigan State University and an executive education from Harvard University. She loves to play tennis, travel the world and be a great mom that can balance it all.
